If Disney Princesses Were Jedi Knights
Ariel dual-wields a pair of blue lightsabers under the sea, Rapunzel rocks short hair with an exceptionally long Padawan braid, and Snow White makes one hell of a bad-ass Sith in these illustrations by Ralph Sevelius.
Guys.
I made Sam’s Instagram.
It’s here. http://instagram.com/nottamoose/
I will upload more. I promise.
What have I started….
Team Free Vacation!
This is the FastPass machine at Tokyo DisneySea’s Tower of Terror.
Yes…the FastPass machines look like THAT.
I’m very confident I’ll be seeing this live in living color later this year and if I survive past the Aquasphere, I will die instead upon seeing the most well-themed FastPass machine ever.
The princesses dressed as their respective villains
Belle and Tiana look hot in their outfits. And Ariel looks glam
I love this!
Not gonna mention how kick-butt Mulan looks?
Hey Oncers! (that’s what we’re calling ourselves I guess?) Doesn’t Belle’s look like her outfit from this last The Outsider episode??????
I would cosplay the Mulan one in a heartbeat. (Always loved that hood. Always.)
Animation Fun Fact! - The Disney company had originally planned a Fantasia 2006 that was later cancelled. Roy Disney had been working with this project and produced two shorts (maybe more?) that were later released. Check out these two beautiful shorts.
The Little Match Girl directed by Roger Allers - based on Hans Christian Andersons classic tale of a little girl forced to sell matches on a cold winter night, she has to sell every one or she can’t return home. It was released with the special edition of The Little Mermaid DVD. It can be seen [here].
One By One directed by Pixote Hunt - Kids in a South African village fly kites to “One By One” by Lebo M. It was later released as a bonus feature on the Lion King II: Simba’s Pride DVD. It can be seen [here]
TEARS AND GOOSEBUMPS WATCHING THESE AGAIN
Frozen is an upcoming Walt Disney Animation Studios film, set to be released November 27, 2013. Frozen is an adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen ’s fairytale The Snow Queen. This would be WDFA’s second Andersen-inspired feature, the first being The Little Mermaid.
Synopsis: When Anna is cursed by her estranged sister, the cold-hearted Snow Queen, Anna’s only hope of reversing the curse is to survive a perilous but thrilling journey across an icy and unforgiving landscape. Joined by a rugged, thrill-seeking outdoorsman, his one-antlered reindeer and a hapless snowman, Anna must race against time, conquer the elements and battle an army of menacing snowmen if she ever hopes to melt her frozen heart.”
I’m really looking forward to this one :))
I heard it went from 2D and then was scrapped and now is being done in 3D, which is still cool, but I would really like to see the Paperman technique applied to it because that would be GORGEOUS.
